Formed in 2024, the Australian Network of Youth Orchestras is a not-for-profit association that brings together the State Youth Orchestras and Music for Canberra to advocate, share resources, and provide a voice for the thousands of young musicians in our weekly programs.
With over 200 years of combined experience in orchestral training, the State Youth Orchestras are a cornerstone of the orchestral music sector in Australia. Building safe, caring and creative places for young people aged 5 to 25 to discover their musical voice. Our network represents the leading providers of orchestral training within their states, who drive the development of young musicians, conductors, composers, music educators and arts workers.
